Age restrictions

Registration on the and use of the EQAFE website is restricted to individuals over 18 years of age, emancipated minors, or those who possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the EQAFE Terms and Conditions. If you do not meet these age restriction you must not use this website.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to:

  1. modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, the Website (or any part of) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or 
  2. change these Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part of) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website. 
  3. We will use our reasonable endeavors to maintain the Website. The Website is subject to change from time to time. You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use any part of the Website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website due to circumstances beyond our control.


All the products on EQAFE are distributed as electronic downloads. The product or products that you purchase from EQAFE are strictly for your personal use. You must not further redistribute, upload, copy or share the EQAFE products with any third party, upload it to another website, share it on a file sharing network or deliver it in any other way to any other third party.

Delivery Policy

When you click to make a purchase "Place Order" with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of money charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.


Products on the EQAFE are all delivered electronically as a download after the ordered products are paid in full.

Order processing

Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.

The owner of this site, the authors of these contents and in general anybody connected to this site in any way, from now on collectively called "Providers", assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in these contents.

The Providers further do not warrant, guarantee or make any representation regarding the safety, reliability, accuracy, correctness or completeness of these contents. Refunds/returns Policy

We do not provide any refunds. In a case where you should experience problems downloading the ordered products we'll assist you through email communication. However we can not prevent or guarantee the necessary functionality of your internet connection which is a basic requirement to download products from our shop.

Payment Options and Pricing

EQAFE reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

Should EQAFE reduce items price on any shipped products within 10 working days of shipment, you may contact us and request a refund of the difference between the price you were charged and the reduced selling price. To receive the refund you must contact us within 14 days of shipment.

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions you hereby confirm that you will not use another person’s account or credit card to pay for any purchases on EQAFE without their written consent. Equal Life Foundation does not in any way condone the illegal use / theft of credit card or Paypal accounts.

Security Policy


We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).


The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Updating of these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User's obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User's continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User's acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.


I understand that all the trademarks and logos are registered to Equal Life Foundation and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Equal Life Foundation for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.

Live Chat Support Agreement

Responsibility for the Effectiveness of the Live Chat

When you make the decision to purchase the Live Chat Support product, consider the following:

  1. The responsibility for personal change rests entirely with you – The agent who will be chatting with you will support you as far as they are able within the points that you are facing, though the agent cannot make any changes for you. The key for change is up to YOU.
  2. The agent who you chat with will be working with you to identify solutions and offer suggestions and perspectives based on their own personal experience, training and the information you give them.
  3. The available EQAFE agents are all Buddy’s in the Desteni I Process courses, though they may not have formal training in life coaching, psychology, mentorship, psychiatry, etc. The EQAFE agents in no way represent that they are offering Professional Advice in any area of knowledge – all information that the agent shares will be based on personal experience.
  4. All decisions and courses of action are entirely yours and you accept full responsibility for such decisions and actions.
  5. You should always carefully evaluate the consequences of various choices available to you and act accordingly including seeking Professional Advice prior to taking actions where appropriate.
  6. The Client, by agreeing to this Live Chat Support Agreement form hereby agrees and acknowledges that the EQAFE website and its agents, employees and servants are not licensed investment advisors, licensed real estate agents, licensed financial planners, qualified or practicing accountants, qualified or practicing finance professionals, qualified or practicing health professionals, qualified or practicing mental health professionals or qualified or practicing legal professionals.
  7. The EQAFE agent may stop the Live Chat if they in any way feel threatened, abused, targeted, discriminated against or in any way feels uncomfortable with the direction of the discussion after giving one warning to the Client. If the Client continues with that line of discussion or continues to cause distress to the agent in any way, the Live Chat will be stopped. The agent retains the right to refuse to Chat with that Client again at any point in the future.
  8. The EQAFE agent retains the right to refuse to answer any question at their personal discretion. The agent will do this when, but not limited to, they feel unable to answer the question wholly, or if they feel that doing so may in some way compromise themselves or the client.

Other, Current and Past Treatments

You warrant that you do not have a history or current diagnosis of mental illness. Further, you warrant that you are not currently undergoing therapy or treatment of any kind by a medical doctor or licensed therapist, or that if you are you have gained the express written permission (by way of signed referral letter) of your therapist of medical doctor.

If you cannot make these warrants, you have an obligation (for the sake of your own wellbeing) to inform the EQAFE staff of any such history or current diagnosis so that EQAFE can establish whether this is the most appropriate avenue for you.

If at any time the agent you chat with believes that therapy (other than Live Chat Support) is more appropriate for your situation we reserve the right to cancel your chats and refer you to an appropriate licensed therapist. Under such circumstances, all pre-paid and unused payments for Life Support Chats sessions will be refunded.


The EQAFE staff and/or your agent will not divulge that you are in a Live Chat Support relationship without your express consent. You are free to discuss the Live Chat Support relationship with anyone at any time. This confidentiality statement is valid only insomuch as the appropriate state or federal laws allow. In the case of an Employer sponsored Live Chat Support arrangement, the confidentiality statement will be subject to the Employer’s own company policy. The Live Chat Support relationship is not privileged and as such all records regarding the Live Chat Support sessions can be subpoenaed.


Live Chat Support Sessions can be scheduled in advance by direct agreement between you and the EQAFE team or can be immediate when the Live Chat is on.

If you choose to schedule the Chat in advance, please consider that the EQAFE team members reside in time zone GMT +2 hours. The EQAFE team will do their best to accommodate your scheduling requirements, but we retain the right to refuse a certain day or time if the agent is unavailable or if that day/time is unreasonable. If you choose to schedule the chat you may choose which agent you would like to speak to and schedule your Chat with them via the EQAFE store email.

If you choose to have the chat immediately, please take the following into consideration:

  1. The EQAFE agents reside in time zone GMT +2 hours and are not online 24 hours a day. If you purchase the chat when an agent is not online, or about to go offline then you will not be able to have the chat immediately and will have to communicate via email to schedule a suitable chat day / time.
  2. If an agent is online and you would like to chat immediately, you will not be able to choose who you speak to and will have to speak to whichever agent is currently online. If you want to choose the agent you speak to please email the store and request to chat with that agent, after which you will proceed with scheduling a chat via email communication.

If you or the EQAFE agent at any point need to reschedule the day/time of the chat, at least 2 hours’ notice must be delivered via email.

Your success and personal breakthroughs are our priority; please make them yours as well. If for any reason you cannot attend a scheduled Live Chat Support Session you are fully responsible for informing the EQAFE staff and arranging alternate times. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required otherwise the session will be deemed to be forfeit. To avoid confusion it is necessary that you speak to the EQAFE staff by email (store@desteni.org).

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions form a part of your agreement with the EQAFE team and apply to your Live Chat Support Sessions as indicated hereon, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions issued or stipulated by anyone else other than the EQAFE agent. In these terms and conditions, all references to “us”, “our” and “we” mean the EQAFE agent. This agreement has no relation to any other agreement held with EQAFE agent.

  1. Initial Cancellation Period: If you wish to cancel the agreement and payments within 5 business days of the date indicated overleaf you may do so for a refund of any monies paid less the cost of any products delivered and less a 10% administration fee. This refund is only available if the services have not commenced in any way; if this is the case and commencement of services has been agreed to take place prior to the 5 day period full refund shall not be available. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process after notice of cancellation.
  2. Notice of Cancellation: All notice of cancellation must be in writing and delivered by email to store@desteni.org - Voicemail and verbal correspondence do not constitute acceptable cancellation notice. Cancellation notice will be deemed to be the date on which the EQAFE team receives the written notification. Should the client fail to notify the EQAFE team in writing of any changes and not attend the event, there will be no refunds.
  3. Terms of Live Chat Support: The Live Chat Support Programs described herein are created and sold as whole packages and cannot be altered or partially completed in any way. If you are enrolled in continuing Live Chat Support the term of chats (number of sessions over monthly term) is set out. Unused sessions due to premature withdrawal from the Program may not be eligible for refund, credit or transfer.
  4. No membership suspension: Once your Program is in progress, you will not be able to put your account on hold during any part of the term.
  5. Live Chats: You understand that the Program provides personal Live Chat Support services with a Desteni I Process trained agent and typed/written chat sessions, unless explicitly stated as being otherwise on the product description. Unless otherwise specified, members receive the number and duration of coaching sessions shown on the product page. If you miss any scheduled sessions, there are no make-up sessions or refunds. Internet data is at a Client’s expense.
  6. Program changes: The EQAFE team reserves the right to change, modify or cancel the Program as considered necessary. Any such change will be made in consultation with the Client.
  7. Cancellation by mutual agreement: If at any time either the Client or agent believe that the Live Chat Support Sessions and agreement are no longer serving the needs of the Client they may initiate a discussion to rectify the situation prior to cancelling the Program or Sessions. Initial contact should be through email wherein the Client or agent detail their beliefs and reasons for such beliefs. A discussion will then occur between the Client and agent to resolve any issues and determine resolution. If after discussion both parties agree the resolution to be termination of the agreement then a refund of any amount paid for unused services will be given to the Client within seven (7) business days.

Intellectual Property

All material relating to the Program is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights. The copyright in all such materials remains the property of their owners and may not be recorded, used or reproduced, without the written permission of the copyright owner. You agree not, at any time, to do anything that would infringe the intellectual property rights in such materials.


The undersigned agrees to release the EQAFE team, its officers, employees and representatives and their respective heirs, successors and assigns from any claims which the undersigned may otherwise have been arising out of or in any way related to participation in the Live Chat Support Program and harmless from any loss or liability from actions taken or situations created as a results of the Live Chat Support Sessions or relationship. You understand that all action taken is performed voluntarily. Clients should seek independent professional advice before undertaking any physical, business or investment actions.

Agreement Section

By entering into a Live Chat Support Agreement either through paying any amount through the EQAFE store you agree to abide by the terms and conditions as set out above.

Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable to you (excluding for personal injury or death, fraud, or willful default) for any loss or damage (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence, contract or otherwise) that may result in connection with the Services.

Nonetheless, our liability to you shall at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you for the Services.


All notices to be given under these Terms will be by email. Any notice given by email shall be deemed served when dispatched.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable to you or deemed to be in breach of these Terms by reason of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any of our obligations in relation to the Services, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including poor Internet connectivity. In such cases where forces out of our control prevent the chat session from taking place effectively (such as power outages, poor internet connectivity, etc) then rescheduling the chat to such a time and/or day that suit both the agent and Client will be permitted.


No delay or failure by either party to exercise any of its powers, rights or remedies under these Terms will operate as a waiver of them, nor will any single or partial exercise of any such powers, rights or remedies preclude any other or further exercise of them. Any waiver to be effective must be in writing.

Entire Agreement

These Terms together with our booking confirmation constitute the entire agreement between the parties and shall exclude of any other agreement, or understanding of any kind, whether oral or written, relating to the Services.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
